Here's a little text I wrote for some folks over at Superspeedway.net, and thought I should repost it here. See the website below for complete info (albeit somewhat confusing) on the pedal problems... but here's what I have done to fix the problem.

First off, let me say that I've owned three of these Black Momo Racing wheels, and they all will eventually have this problem. It is caused by stress on the plastic parts, and what happens is after a while the shafts on these pedals start to move inside their housing, and the result is erratic throttle movement. The software tries to recalibrate the throttle on the fly, and then you end up with the erratic throttle, and quite often less that 100% throw.
It's really simple to fix. Open the pedals like it shows on that website above. Then clean all that extra clear-grease from the throttle pedal shafts, springs, and potentiometers. I just used a handful of paper towels, and worked on those areas until the gobs of grease were gone.
Pay special attention to how the springs are installed before you proceed.
Then, remove the springs and wrap the throttle pedal shafts with about 2 turns of plastic packing tape (you know, the clear stuff you put around boxes before you mail them). What I did was took a wide roll of the packing tape and stretched about a foot-length of tape along the top of my desk. Then I cut the tape in half lengthwise, to make two strips of narrower tape. Then wrapped the pedal shaft ends about two turns, cut off the excess, replaced the springs, and put it all back together. Make sure to put ALL the screws back in the casing, to keep things from moving around.
After doing this mod my pedals were as good as new. Also, important to note: I've never seen this problem on the brake pedal, but always on the throttle pedal.
Hope this helps someone!
