hey there!...just recently re-installed and am looking forward to racing.
But I'm not about to jump into the Bristol race this thursday....lol....short tracks are hard for me...especially at 0% with an experienced field.
Unless it's gonna be a cluster anyways...I'll wait for a speedway.
Is the nationwide server allways up? when can I get in there and do some laps?

first off, welcome to NSSR, and to answer your question, yes the race servers are always running so you can practice anytime you want. And as for this Thursdays Race, even if you feel your not ready to actually race in the event, you could at least login and watch to see how we do things here at NSSR. Glad to have you aboard !! Now we just need to have you fix you screen name here, (we all use our real names)

Howdy...and welcome once again to NSSR. With the fixed sets I think you should give Bristol a try All you can do is wreck the field...lol The sets we run in Nwide are designed to be easier to drive for our newer drivers so it might be worth a shot. I will be on tonite practicing but to answer your question you can log into the server at anytime...Be sure to use the IP for the Nwide 'server' and use both passwords so that you can change the tracks. Just pick the track and then on the upper right side you will see the setup pull down. Just pick the 'nssr_fixed_...' for the track you are on. Be sure to check the forum race thread for the upcoming event so that you can set the AI strength, race length, and pit stop frequency. Confused? Like I said I'll be on tonite about 7:00 if you would like to walk thru this process and also run some laps. Be sure to log into Teamspeak so we can converse!!!! Almost forgot...a reminder to get your car file ready and uploaded to Billy's FTP server...as well as downloading everyone else's cars

Bounce SUP !!! well, you won't be alone there bud ... you have me to contend with ... even though I have been on the track alot ... I am , well at a viewing of a 0% level most of the time too lol Hop on the server like billy and jeff said and we can help ya out. I remember on Bristol I just plain HATED it but that was only because I was doing 10 laps and then shutting the computer off. After about 20 + laps you will get in a rythym and you will feel more at ease. Once that comes around your times will come down ect..... I have been said I got an ugly car ( maybe they meant an ugly driver ) so my car could use some facial lifts. Happy to see that you are going to race with us.!!!!. Brooks

Welcome George.
As pretty much everyone here has mentioned the Nationwide sets are designed to allow drivers to get a handle on their cars no matter what track they are driving.
Get onto the server whenever you can, practice and we will see you on Thursday.
